Ah, the great British summer. One minute it's sunshine and ice cream, the next it's raincoats and soggy sandwiches. But here at Circus Brighton, we've been having a blast regardless!
Despite the on-and-off weather, our summer events have been nothing short of spectacular.
Highlights of Our Summer So Far:
The Borde Hill Garden Summer Festival was simply magical. We enjoyed glorious weather (yes, really!), and our circus ring and skills area were a massive hit. Families and kids revelled in the sunny skies, showcasing their newfound hula hooping, poi spinning, clown bike riding, diabolo tricks, balancing feats, and gym ribbon twirling talents. It was a day to remember, with the gardens providing a stunning backdrop.
School Fetes and Bubblemania
Our school fetes have been bursting with excitement, and a bit of unexpected British drizzle didn’t dampen our spirits. The circus area, balloon modelling, and Bubblemania were the highlights, bringing smiles and laughter to all the children. There's something uniquely delightful about seeing a child’s face light up when they get a balloon bigger than them, or get lost in a cloud of bubbles.
Loxdale Language School Workshops
At Loxdale Language School, we’ve had the pleasure of running workshops for children and teenagers including our tightrope rig. It’s always inspiring to see young people engage with circus skills, boosting their confidence and creativity. The workshops have been a fantastic success, with many students leaving with a new favourite hobby!

Ropetackle Arts Centre Circus Workshops
Our circus workshops at the Ropetackle Arts Centre were a smash hit last year, selling out in record time. We're back again this year, ready to entertain and inspire with a mix of hula hooping, poi spinning, clown bike riding, diabolo tricks, balancing acts, gym ribbon twirling, and other fun floor skills. We’re thrilled to bring our circus skills area to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford. It promises to be a day filled with laughter, learning, and a lot of fun, no matter what the weather decides to do. From balance to hula hooping, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
